The "Control Room C" is located in the middle part of the platform areas of the Central Station in Milan. This room was one floor above the rolling stock and com- pletely glazed on two levels, so as to control the train access to the station.
This building, built between 1924 and 1931 and designed by Arch. Ulisse Stacchini, features Late Liberty style elements with "deco" influences, highlighted in the decorations of the columns and brackets that define the archi- tectural façade party.
The peculia- rities of the restoration work arise from the tight execution time (120 days) and the logistical and safety aspects, given the daily transit of hundreds of railway convoys below the shipyard.
