The intervention allowed the extension of the existing underpass (Chivasso railway station) to the original section.
The project included the construction of a railway underpass, containment structures for the implementation of the reinforced concrete staircase of the lift connecting the underpass level to the platform one, the upper flooring from the underpass level to the level of the docks, the connection of the upper paving to the existing one, a shelter made of metal framing and a partial demolition of an existing shelter and its relevant reconstruction. To make room for the new shelter, Platform 4 was widened from the width of 3.82 to 5.50 meters.
