Padiglione New Holland Expo 2015

Milano

The theme of Expo Milano 2015 - Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life - immediately seemed to be closely linked with New Holland values and technologies. Therefore, the Universal Exposition represented a unique and unrepeatable opportunity to let millions of visitors from all over the world know the brand, history, and role of the New Holland food chain. But above all, its vision of the future.

For this reason, the Expo pavilion was designed with an inspiration deriving from the Clean Energy Leader strategy, and in particular, from the Energy Independent Farm project, based on the idea of finally overcoming the use of fossil fuels thanks to bioenergy.

The activities concerned the total construction of the structure, from the earth work to the coverings, from internal partitions to external facades, including the building of electrical and mechanical installations, as well as of all the internal and external ancillary and finishing works. The whole operation was designed to be fully assembled adopting a dry construction technology and can be subsequently disassembled by retrieving all the parts composing it.

This is a choice of sustainability, so as not to produce rubble and waste materials, which also means a well-defined economic advantage: in fact, at the end of Expo 2015, the pavilion was dismantled and reassembled in the CNHI premises in Suzzara, as a permanent exhibition space for New Holland.
